Run Around Forums is just starting out, however we will soon need moderators to watch over the various forums. For now, as the admin I will watch over the forums, but as the community grows I'll need to recruit mods.

Moderators will be expected to keep an eye out for any activities taking place that are against rules and regulations, while viewing the forums. Once a user is promoted to a mod, they will be assigned to the forum that they applied for. It is possible for one user to be assigned to more than one forum. Mods will be demoted to regular users if they fail to maintain order within their forum section. Maintaining order means to notify me of members who are engaging in acts against the rules of the entire board that need to be banned, transfer posts that are posted in the wrong thread to a different one, locking threads that are spam, harassment, racist, pornographic, and making sure that people stay on topic or else warn the thread that it will face deletion or a lock after constant off-topicness.

The job of a moderator isn't a difficult one, and mods will be given special permissions within the community. It's kind of like assigning leaders to specific parts of the board, to watch over and protect in a way.

Being a moderator can also be very positive in the way that one bonds with their specific forum and it's posters.

In short terms, as a moderator here at RAF, you are a user with special permissions, able to edit threads and forums, lock and sticky, and much more. This isn't anywhere close to a job, and there isn't any pay involved. This is simply for those who wish to volunteer to engage in a forum community, to moderate the forums as they view them, and keep an eye out for things.
I would like to build a team of mods who will take the forum seriously, and are responsible enough to take action when they notice something is wrong within their forum.

If you are interested in taking on the rank of Moderator, please fill out the form below and mail it to: hikarukazushime@hotmail.com
