With 2 episodes out, Kimi ni Todoke has caught my eye as one of the better Fall 2009 series

With a certain Bokura ga Ita feel, I'm hoping Kimi ni Todoke keeps right on track and becomes one of my favorite animes

tried watching an episode but I don't really like the main character enough to keep watching

I agree with Tom. Although the voice-acting is excellent and it looks good for a shoujo, which goes beyond my tastes, the two main characters seem pretty weak. I'll look into it more and hope they develop. It has potential for a great romance.
